Christmas Schedule at Round Tower Hotel

Note: Christmas Draw night change! We've had to re-jig a few things for the Christmas line up, so for our Christmas Draw night on Thursday 20th December we will have the band 'Bochtán' doing the entertainment instead of Ross Kearley and for New Year's Eve we normally have 'Out the Gap' playing but the lads unfortunately can't make it this year - so we'll really miss them - but Ross Kearley will ta...
ke their place instead - it will still be a great New Year's Eve party with Ross in the house.
So a few dates for your diary...
-Friday 30th Nov 10pm - Last Friday Monthly Session;
-Thursday 20th Dec 9pm - Christmas Draw Party night with Declan Hennessy MC and Bochtán - €2 per entry for draw
-Friday 21st Dec 10pm - Christmas 'Last Friday' Session
-Monday 31st Dec - New Year's Eve Party night, finger food, craic and a glass of bubbly at midnight with Ross Kearley.
We look forward to seeing you all during the festive season. Regards, Aidan

National heat of The Culchie Festival will take place this Saturday night 13th October at Round Tower Hotel at 10pm.

A national heat of The Culchie Festival will take place this Saturday night 13th October at Round Tower Hotel at 10pm. There will be loads of fun, craic & music as we watch the touring judges on the night interview and search for the best female and male Culchie who will then be picked to go through to the National final to be held in Cloyne Co Cork in the next few weeks with some fabulous prizes ...
on offer. Are you up for it?....Do you think you can impress ( or even fool) the judges to reach the final?....This should be a great night of fun, so come along and support the contestants and anyone who wants to enter please contact John Supple on 0862330810 before this Friday 12th.

The Culchie Festival started in 1989 in Clonbur Co Galway.The Festival has taken place in many towns and villages throughout Ireland in its search to find "The Culchie" or the "Village Character" as he was known years ago. This festival is now a huge event and "The true culchie has the ability to entertain at will, whether on stage or TV". It is great to see Ardmore being chosen as one of the places to hold this year's national heat and who knows we might even produce the 2012 All Ireland Champion this Saturday.The festival final is held in late October of each year after regional heats held throughout Ireland and other overseas Irish communities to select contestants.

In this time, over €270,000 has been raised for Trócaire projects world-wide.
Round Tower Hotel took part in 2010 & 2011, we raised a few bob on the night and had a bit of fun too! This session is open to all singers, musicians and those that just want to sit back, relax and listen. Raffle and refreshments on the night. All are welcome.
